Investment Management for Ministry
 

Managing money for the church requires special stewardship skills.  For local churches with long-term investments or endowment funds, Paragraphs 2532.5 and 2534 of The Book of Discipline of The United Methodist Church 2004 directs that "consideration shall be given to placement of funds with the conference or area United Methodist Foundation for administration and investment."
